Snow in the South

Spending most of this winter at the cabin in Alabama doesn't mean we missed out on snow. Doesn't Honey look extra lovely in white?

You may be wondering why she's sitting so low -- and not up on that gorgeous Tundra. More on that later in this post.

We get snow in the south most years. Nothing new. It's just not all winter long which makes it extra special. In the forest, it's even more magical. Then there was the full moon photo. Our wood heater has been going for weeks and oh how thankful we are for firewood. We even made the short drive to the next mountain to see Cheaha Falls in the snow.

While on the trail we met fellow travelers. These folks were from Canada and were traveling with their one-year old doodle. Great conversation ensued resulting in a big decision about something we had been on the fence for a while. We'll post on this decision very soon. With photos.

Meantime, check out Angela & Ross Davies ... one truck, one trailer, one year, one dog, one couple, two countries, one BIG adventure. Angela's photography is reason enough to check them out!

Ready to know why Honey is not on our truck? Well, she had a little run in with a good sized tree. We discovered that Honey is one tough aluminum camper. She did a number on the cab of our Tundra so it's in the shop. Very little damage to the panels of the Moonlander but enough to have us planning another trip to Denver to see the guys at Radica. Meantime, we're enjoying winter at our forest cabin. No complaints.
